Borås is Sweden’s 13th biggest city with over 100,000 inhabitants. It is the Swedish centre for textiles and clothing with several famous companies.

The city is well known for its sculptures which are found almost everywhere in the city centre; several walking tours are based around them. Caroli Church has survived four fires which ravaged other buildings in the city and is well worth a look, along with Borås Zoo.

Nature is always nearby in Borås. The city is embraced by parks and green areas, stretching into the built-up areas. The beautiful countryside is always within easy reach, for pleasure and for exercise.

Borås offers a rich cultural life and enjoyable shopping with the close convenience of a small town and the choice and opportunities of a city.The cost of living is lower here than in most parts of Sweden, with advantageous prices for food and accommodation.
