BA International Business Management
This programme provides a thorough grounding in business and management theory, with an opportunity to specialise in either business or international management.
Core to the programme is an integrated study semester at a partner university outside Germany. The pedagogy of the programme gives you insights into the real business world through the use of case studies, project simulations, visits to companies and guest lecturers from the corporate world.
The first year of this programme is taught through German
Note, there are no tuition fees but there is a semester fee of some EUR300, to cover admin expenses
Year 1: Marketing; Logistics; Human Resource Management; Financial Management; Economics; Legal Systems; European Law; Taxation Issues; Business Mathematics; Statistics; Accounting; Foreign Language [from French, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, German; Chinese, Italian and Polish]
Year 2: Management Tools; Management Concepts; Economic Policy; Information Management; Foreign Business Language (cf. stage I) Six from the following eight modules: International Human Resource Management, International Marketing, Advanced Business Language; Cultural Management; International Logistics; Controlling; Corporate Finance; Global Economics
Year 3: Study Semester Abroad; Academic Project and Bachelor Dissertation
The university offers a related Masters programme, taught through English, in the following area:

3 A-levels (grades between A and E) + 3 GCSE (grades between A and C), inc A-Level Maths
Leaving Certificate showing at least 6 subjects of which at least 2 Higher Level subjects (at least Grade C3), inc Hons Maths
Pre-start internship [8-weeks]
