Programme profile

The European population is becoming continuously older and healthcare within the family is on the decline, meaning there‘s a growing demand for all services and infrastructures throughout the healthcare and medical tourism industries. In 2020, there will be an estimated 3 million people in need of medical care in Germany alone. Throughout Germany, there‘s an 18% shortage of qualified professionals in all medical and recreational sectors. The increased digitalization of information management including the continual rise of database implementation throughout this sector, means demands for specialized medical IT professionals have drastically risen.

Rottal-Inn, where much of the programme is run, is in Germany‘s renowned and celebrated health resort region, the so-called Rott Valley Spa Triangle, refering to the geographical shape of the health resort area containing many spas, hotels and golf courses with their related businesses and industries
