Programme profile

In an increasingly globally interconnected world, international relations are  key to the success of most businesses. Many companies operate across borders and have worldwide branch offices as well as cooperation partners. Raw materials are imported from abroad and goods are produced in foreign countries. Global business therefore needs qualified specialists who are able to confidently move internationally and work in international teams.

If you would like to study abroad at different universities, in the first year you study in Aachen then you spend the second year at the UCLL in Leuven, Belgium and in the third year you either study in Spain, Worcester, London or France. After six semesters, you will complete your studies with a double degree from UCLL Leuven and the partner university from your last academic year.

Programme content

Students acquire fundamental and practice-oriented knowledge of economic sciences, e.g. in marketing, finance, economics, or business taxation, and all of this in an international context.

The curriculum is supplemented by social competences and foreign language courses. Over the course of study, students can select specialisation modules from a comprehensive catalogue, such as International Management Training or International Economics, thereby deciding where to lay their individual focus. In the fifth or sixth semester, students have the opportunity to study abroad for an additional semester.
