The continued growth of the tourism industry worldwide is placing increasingly sophisticated demands on management at virtually every level of tourism-oriented businesses, calling for professional and academic qualifications which are viable in an increasingly competitive international setting.

During the first two semesters, general international business administration subjects and issues are dealt with, whereas semesters three through six are dedicated to equally international tourism-related subjects and the chosen major: Tourism Marketing Management; Leisure Industry; Transportation; Sports Management ; Sustainable Tourism Management.

Entry Requirements


General Certificate of Education (with examination in 8 subjects where at least 3 are A-levels. Subjects required usually include English, a Second language, Mathematics, a Natural Science subject (biology, chemistry or physics) and a Humanities or Social Sciences subject (e.g. geography, history or economics/law)

Leaving Certificate showing at least 6 subjects of which at least 2 Higher Level subjects (at least Grade C3), other subjects at least Grade D3. Subjects required usually include English, a Second language, Mathematics, a Natural Science subject (biology, chemistry or physics) and a Humanities or Social Sciences subject (e.g. geography, history or economics/law)
