Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) was founded in 1994, with the unification of several much older institutions, including the Berlin College of Engineering and the Berlin College of Economics (Hochschule für Ökonomie). With a student body of more than 13,000, HTW is the largest University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, with around 70 Bachelor’s and Master’s courses in Engineering, Economics, Information Technology, Culture and Design.

HTW’s Business Admin programme was the fourth-ranked programme of its type, in the Wirtschafts Woche rankings, which is compiled using surveys of personnel managers in the largest German companies.
