Originally the Tallinn Conservatoire [from 1923], the school was renamed the Estonian Academy of Music in 1993. A new building followed shortly afterwards: inits 7 500 square meters are 60 classrooms, 14 rehearsal rooms, a Chamber Hall [which seats 130–200], a choir room and auditorium, an audition room, opera studio, electronic music lab, recording studio, library with all music listening and computer facilities, and dining room.
