European University Cyprus grew out of Cyprus College, which was founded in 1961. It as was founded as a university in 2006, as part of the US Laureate International Universities Group.

European University Cyprus was granted university status in 2007 and now has a student enrolment of more than 5,000 in undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degree program

Accommodation


European University Cyprus has its own private apartments near the campus. The total capacity of the University’s housing facilities is 140 people. Single, double, triple and quadruple apartments and studios are available. The apartments are fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, living room and air conditioning systems. The monthly rent for student apartments ranges from €250 to €505 depending on the choice of apartment. Costs for electricity, water and heating are not included in the rent. As space is limited, the application for accommodation must be submitted, preferably by the end of July
