Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) offers Bachelor and Master level studies for 10 000 students in seven educational fields. It is one of the largest Universities of Applied Sciences in Finland. Its education focuses on technology, business, tourism, as well as health and social welfare services.

TAMK curricula are based on the identified needs and aims of employment. TAMK also carries out applied research and development which serves the teaching, the working life and the economic development of the region. Students carry out projects for businesses and organisations during their studies. Almost all degree programmes require students to do a period of work experience.

Please note that you are required to arrange your accommodation by yourself. TAMK does not have any student dormitories though can refer you to local student housing agencies. Apply for accommodation as early as possible! There is a shortage of student accommodation in Tampere.
