The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid is a public university in Madrid, Spain. Its three campuses are located in the municipalities of Leganes, Colmenarejo and Getafe. It is a small institution well-known for the quality of its teaching and academic research as well as its international orientation and its higher than average study workload.

The university consists of three schools: the School of Social Science and Law, the School of Humanities and the School of Engineering. The undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Economics and Law are ranked first, first and second respectively among those offered by public and private universities in Spain.

The University was founded in 1989 and states that it has the objective of "providing an efficient, high quality public undergraduate and graduate education". The University has limited places available in its Halls of Residence. It also has an agreement with a local letting agency to provide housing for students at advantageous terms. You should budget for between €350-€500 per month for accommodation.
