Profile

Università Bocconi, founded in 1902, is an independent institution committed to being one of the leading academic points of reference in Europe. Bocconi has always adhered to the ideas and principles of its founder, businessman Ferdinando Bocconi: “a spirit of innovation, attention to the real world, intellectual freedom and research, in a national and international environment”.

Bocconi was the first Italian institution of higher education to grant a degree in economics and is ranked among the best business schools in Europe and in the world by the Financial Times.

The university’s Bachelor programs offer a package of core knowledge and skills that allow students to confidently tackle subsequent academic paths: either continuing their studies or immediately entering the workforce. The university underlines that is “a cutting-edge teaching organisation, with high levels of contact between students and faculty members and ongoing interaction with the job market”, and that these along with the “personal commitment and active participation that all students are required to demonstrate, are the factors that lead to our graduates landing good positions and building the future they want for themselves.”

Bocconi is a member of two important international networks, the Program of International Management (PIM) and the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS), that allow students to attend study abroad programs and be involved in international opportunities.

The campus, located in the heart of Milan, is open and multicultural. It is a place where students study and work with classmates and faculty members from all over the world to grow and learn during a rich and stimulating academic experience.
