Profile
Nord University opened as Norway's 8th university in 2011, as University of Nordland (UIN). From 1st January 2016, UIN merged with University College Nord-Trøndelag, to become Nord University. The merged entity currently has approximately 12,000 students.
Nord offers more than 180 programmesᅠwithinᅠseveral academic disciplines,ᅠat bachelor, master and PhD levels. Mostᅠprogrammes are taught in Norwegian butᅠit now offers a limited range of PhD, Master programs and Bachelor programmes in English.
