Willlem de Kooning Academy is part of the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and offers a wide range of art and design programmes. It is seen as one of them most prestgious art schools in the Netherlands.
The Academy offers 13 full-time majors (many taught through English) leading to a bachelor's degree. TOn top of a major, students are able to choose from a wide variety elective minors. It will introduce them to the three graduation profiles: Autonomous Practices, Social Practices and Commercial Practices.
At postgraduate level The Piet Zwart Institute offers 4 full-time postgraduate programmes leading to master's degree: Fine Art, Interior Architecture & Retail Design, Media Design (Experimental Publishing & Lens-Based) and Education in Arts.
