Profile
Furtwangen University's [HFU] core focus is on science-based, practical education and training. Traditional boundaries between subject fields are overcome in interdisciplinary projects. HFU is a leader in the specialist areas of engineering, computer science, information systems and management, engineering management, media, international economics, and health. The university is constantly adapting its range of courses and programmes to take account of innovative developments.
It currently has over 5000 students in its eight faculties

Accommodation
All international students receive assistance from the university in finding accommodation. Most students live in shared houses / flats. Rents vary roughly between €200 and €300 pm depending on location and what the rent includes
