Programme profile

To be a top musician, that is your dream! But you also want to learn how to write and produce music and manage your own business. And all that, preferably, in an inspiring, international setting. Codarts’ Pop programme has it all. What do you think of performances as exams during the Festival Pop op de Kaap, for example?

At Codarts you can learn how to make your hands or your voice do what your mind dreams of. You follow intense classes with your instrument. You play in bands with fellow students from your own and other music departments. You gain stage experience, both within Codarts and far beyond the academy’s setting. Take a look at the Codarts Pop Orchestra!. All this helps you develop into an experienced musician who knows the profession from A to Z, from writing to performing, from producing to doing business..
