Programme profile


The School of Medicine in English at the Medical Faculty of Jagiellonian University has been admitting students since 1994, withEnglish is an official teaching language. Classes are run in compliance with Polish, European and American standards. Annually 50-100 students are enrolled for on the programme. The groups are limited in number to give the students the opportunity to experience full professional care and close personal contact with teaching staff.

Graduates of the School of Medicine in English, most of whom come from Norway, annually take the top places in the exams which allow medical graduates to practise their profession.

The programme offers a unique undergraduate medical training to foreign students from professors and teaching staff with long-term training in the US and Canada.

Students have the opportunity in their final year of study to complete elective rotations at various universities in the United States, Canada and elsewhere

3 A-levels inc Biology & Chemistry OR Physics

Scottish Students are required to have a SQC with 2 Advanced Highers and at least 4 Highers. Subjects to include Maths, Biology AND Chemistry OR Physics.

Leaving Certificate showing at least 6 subjects of which at least 2 are Higher Level subjects (at least Grade H4). Subjects to include Maths, Biology AND Chemistry OR Physics
