Programme profile


The overall aim of this programme is to educate students with a view to practicing as a nurse in international and multicultural nursing contexts. Practical training will include provision of nursing care and support to individuals, families and communities in order to help them achieve favourable health and avoid illness. Another important goal is to develop the students" counselling skills and establishing interactive relationships with anxious and distressed individuals.

The programme highlights particularly the impact of culture on nursing care and on expected outcomes. Students are encouraged to perform part of their studies abroad. Basics of Multidisciplinary Project Management and Business Studies are included in the curriculum. Students will be acquainted with problem-based learning (PBL), and the foundations of evidence-based Nursing.
