Programme profile

This programme is run at University College Utrecht (UCU), a college of Utrecht University.

Students choose from over 200 different courses in Humanities, Science and Social Science. Among the special characteristics of the college are the international composition of its student body, the freedom for students to compose their own curriculum, its small classes and individual attention.

A UCU education is characterised by its broad and interdisciplinary nature. As a student, therefore, you design your own curriculum. This means that the curriculum does not have a fixed structure; instead you combine different modukes to assemble a personal study programme. The full three year programme has six semesters of four modules each, so by the end your curriculum consists of at least 24 modules. Once you've completed the programme a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree is issued.

The programme is enhanced through a study abroad semester , an international internship and the opportunity to take off-campus modules. A research project in the final year is required. nearly 90% of UCU graduates apply to postgraduate programmes worldwide, in a wide range of specialisations.

Tuition Fee includes standard statutory Tuition Fee of Eur 2209 plus an Institutional Fee

UCU has an alternative start date every February [Application Deadline: 15 Sep]
