Programme profile

This is a new programme [launched 2011] . Students will learn to see anew the world and the environment around them and will learn to translate their experience into drawings, paintings, models and other means of artistic expression. They will learn to analyse and synthesise their experiences and findings into designs and design strategies. Throughout the programme, students will pay heed to the necessity for the use of renewable energy resources and the ecology of the built environment.

Each academic year, the curriculum aims to explore more and more complex issues and scales of design in themes such as: Design Principles; Private Space and Dwelling; Public Space and Place-Making; Urban Space and Urban Regeneration.
