Programme profile

Arts and culture are your passion, whether you listen mainly to house music or prefer to spend hours walking around a museum. A career behind the scenes of this multifaceted sector is your ambition.

In this programme, you will learn the social significance of art and culture. You will develop a broad vision of art with a capital A, but also of popular culture. You will analyse the domain of the Visual Arts, the film industry, the music industry, the publishing business, the performing arts and the world of mass media.

You will examine how the world of art and culture functions. In addition, you will get to know the parties involved in the creation, distribution and consumption of culture. You will practice writing articles and will learn the intricacies of social scientific research.
A combination of Business, Sociology, History and Media Science prepares you to deal with the challenges for which the art world is known, from different perspectives.
