Programme profile
This programme, run at the Baltic Film & Media School, adopts a learning-by-doing approach to deliver the skills and understanding essential for the production of audiovisual content for multiple platforms. Students acquire hands-on experience in developing and creating audiovisual work in a variety of formats, including TV programmes, short films, documentaries, music videos, advertising, and corporate videos.
The programme is designed for active and creative students who are interested in careers in the rapidly developing field of audiovisual media and artistic expression. The course brings together students from different cultural backgrounds, creating a stimulating international atmosphere best suited for the exploration of the globalising media world.
The curriculum includes both practical and theoretical courses and prepares graduates for careers in the television and media industry as producers, journalists, directors, editors and cameramen
All student films created within the curriculum are developed and produced in teams. Production costs, equipment and graduation films are partly financed by the school
Progression
The School currently offers a Masters in Film Arts, taught through English
