Programme profile
In this programme you will learn about the use, structure and application of (mass) media such as television, radio, events, outdoor advertising, direct mail and the Internet. You will learn to develop market-oriented concepts, programmes and productions, using media techniques and information and communication technology.ᅠImagineering will be key area investigated throughout the programme. An imagineer is the key figure of an organisation, for he is able to translate the message of a brand into a creative concept that is geared to the target group. He thinks beyond the traditional media and knows all about creating a positive experience related to a product or brand.
Throughout the entire programme you spend one day a week working in mADE Production House, the university's own Media & Entertainment Production Company. Here, you work on assignments and projects secured from industry, together with other students. Consider developing a website, writing a communication plan or organising a media event.
Programme content
Year 1: Media & Entertainment; Imagineering; Marketing and Communication; Content-Orientation; Project Management, Statistics, Market Research and Financial Management.
Year 2: Management, Marketing and Communication; Imagineering; Production Techniques; Project Management ; Financial Management; there is also a three-week training programme in live television production at Northern Arizona University
Years 3 & 4: you choose a specialisation theme, in one of the following: Marketing OR Production OR Content.
You also complete a 20-week placement, in the Netherlands or abroad, at, for instance, production companies, publishing companies, communication agencies or broadcasting corporations. In addition, your 20-week graduation project will be executed on behalf of a company: you develop a multimedia project, for instance, conduct research, or write a marketing plan.

Entry Requirements
2 A-Levels and 4 GCSEs OR relevant BETEC Level 3 Extended Diploma. Subjects to inc. Maths
Scottish Students are required to have a SQC with 2 Advanced Highers and at least 4 Highers. Subjects to include Maths.
Five passes at Leaving Cert OR relevant QQi/FETAC Level 5. Subjects to include Marhs.
