This programme prepares you with the skills and knowledge to be successful in global business. Learning is based on applying theoretical knowledge in a multicultural, innovative learning environment through case studies and projects in co-operation with industry and our international network. The skills and competences you gain will give you a great opportunity to work for modern, innovative, global companies. Students can study at least one semester abroad gaining international experience and can complete their practical training abroad..

Programme content

During the first year, you will concentrate on the fundamentals of business, such as the basics of marketing, management, communication and research. You will get theoretical grounding in business that will help you to understand business practices in global contexts.

During the second year, you will choose two academic tracks and write your thesis. The Academic Tracks are:
- Marketing Management
- Cross Cultural Management
- Technology and Future Forecasting
- Finance and Corporate Governance
- User-Centric Design and Innovation
- Economics of Internationalisation
- Competitiveness

Your third-year is dedicated to practical training or an exchange period abroad. You can also widen your experiences and skills by pursuing a double degree at one of JAMK's partner universities, outside Finland. In case you stay one more semester at JAMK you may also specialize in:
- High-Tech Management
- Sports Marketing
- Tourism and Hospitality Management
- Entrepreneurship

You are excepted to study foreign languages, from: Finnish, German, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese or Chinese.


The university doesnt currently offer a related programme at Masters level, taught through English

3 A-levels + 3 GCSEs

Six subjects at Leaving Certificate including 2 at H5 OR relevant QQI5




A-Level/Leaving Certificate results usually need to be received by university before end of July
