Programme profile


This programme combines a strong business education with specialist commercial knowledge for wine production. It is offered in close cooperation with leading wine industry representatives from Austria and abroad. There is also an emphasis on sales-related topics and associated export activities.

An internship gives you an opportunity to apply the knowledge obtained during your courses in real-life professional situations. It gives you a practical insight into the workings and functions of a company, and helps you to obtain experience which will be crucial to your future career.

Graduates will possess detailed knowledge of management, marketing, winemaking, oenology and sensory perception. They will also have developed analytical and intercultural skills, as well as collecting practical experience in the course of a work placement.

The curriculum is designed in such a way that students have the option of studying for a semester at a partner institution.
