Programme profile
At the start of the programme, students will focus on gaining basic skills and knowledge, after which they will apply their acquired learning in practice. Through your studies, you will acquire comprehensive customer-oriented product development and marketing competences, and you will become familiar with different cultures for the purposes of international tourism. You will also learn to develop and deliver high-quality experiences for tourists and to manage tourism businesses with an entrepreneurial attitude. The final stages of your studies will utilise your acquired competences in practice, and in the development of different types of smart solutions.
Throughout the studies, students will carry out different kinds of projects in close collaboration with local companies and organisations. Several tourism destinations will also be explored in person, and through academic study, during the program. It should be noted that in this degree, students spend a significant amount of time outside the classroom, outdoors and in natural surroundings,experiencing tourism services and activities first hand. The main focal areas of the degree are nature activities, cultural perspectives and recreational tourism
