Programme profile

Do you choose Business Administration and Agribusiness? Then you will be trained as a business specialist in the agricultural and food sector. Whether you start working as a manager at a beer brewery or prefer to get your green fingers out at a nursery, experienced teachers will teach you all the tricks of the trade in business administration. In this way they take you to a higher level on a professional and personal level.

Programme content

During the study you will become acquainted with various parts of the field of business administration and agri-food business. Think of purchasing, marketing, finance and logistics. You will apply this knowledge in practice in the first year in the form of a traineeship where you will receive good coaching. This way you learn to manage or do business at a higher level and you find out what you need to perform your role as best as possible.

Within this course, international awareness and business are the main themes, with the focus being on the future of the earth. Global business transcends international borders, which requires professionals with strong intercultural skills, business acumen, global ambitions as well as a focus on people and the environment. From the first week onwards you will learn to bridge the gap between cultures. Whether you work for a multinational or an ambitious local endeavour, conducting international business requires a unique skill set. With IB, you will become master of this trade. You will gain a thorough understanding of subjects like marketing and sales, (circular) economics, business administration, management skills, and other themes regarding business management.

Van Hall Larenstein participates in 6 living labs: these are research environments located across the globe.
