Programme profile


This programme will qualify you as a Registered Nurse (RN): it trains you to work successfully in a range of different working environments. During your studies you will develop evidence-based theoretical thinking and practical skills in nursing. The programme includes supervised clinical practice according to EU-directives, partly conducted in another country. The programme is taught and conducted in English, but it also includes studies in Finnish so that you will be able to use the Finnish language at the end of the education. This will enable you to work as RN also in Finland.

Key competences acquired in your programme include: acting ethically; promoting and maintaining health; medication; decision-making in nursing, advising and guiding the patients, interacting and co-operating in multiprofessional teams and nursing in multicultural settings.

The programme comprises is a total of 50 weeks of practical internships.
