Programme profile
The Automotive Engineering campus is housed in Fiat-Lingotto, FIAT's headquarters. The Lingotto Centre deals, on behalf of its Automotive Engineering students, with firms in the area which are involved in automotive design and production, including design and production of components, in order to acquire extra-academic didactic knowledge, to ensure teaching content is always up-to-date and to seek out opportunities for internships.
Students can specialise in one of the following areas:
- Propulsion Systems Development
- Vehicle Systems Development
- Management of Industrial Processes
The programme offers students the opportunity for obtaining a double degree awith the University of Windsor (Canada) by attending the last year in Windsor and by defending a thesis both in Italy and in Canada.

Programme content
Your basic education is broad (mathematics, geometry, physics, chemistry, computer science) is broad and comprehensive. The fundamentals of industrial engineering, with particular reference to mechanics, materials technology, thermodynamics, principles of electrical engineering, electronics, machinery and machine construction, and manufacturing technology, are covered.
Specific aspects of automotive engineering are taught from the first year, through modules on motor vehicles and their evolution, and setting design parameters for motor vehicles. Management is covered in the second and third years in modules dedicated to Business, Business Organisation and HR Management. Education is completed through contextual modules such as language training, work safety, and the final exam which includes a compulsory internship
