Programme profile


Electricity is everywhere, and its applications are infinite. All applications are designed, engineered, sold and maintained.

In addition to basic basic technical and communication skills, students will learn about analogue and digital hardware, product design and electronic engineering. Programming will also be part of the course.

Students learn while designing products. The importance to the multidisciplinary approach to the design process is central to the programme. For at least two semesters, student will work in-company, developing their practical and professional skills.

Year 1: Network Analysis; Analogue Electronics; Programming; Digital Techniques; Basic Microprocessors; Algebraic Abilities; Trigonio & Complex numbers; Differentiation & Integration; Differential Equations & Laplace; Physics

Year 2: PLC; Power Electronics; Analogue Filters; Advanced Microprocessors; Visual C; Electrical Drive Techniques; Advanced Power Electronics; Elektrom Compatibility; Interface Techniques; HDL; Telecommunication; Management Accounting; Power System Analysis; Analogue Systems Control; System Design; Fourier Analysis; Industrial Networks; Power System Engineering; Data networks; Digital Signal Processing; Sensor Mechatronics

Year 3: Internship; Advanced Energy Systems; Automated Test Environments; Energy Converters & Drives; Image Processing; Electives

Year 4: Electrical Information Engineering or Electrical Power and Automation Specialisation; Minor; Bachelor's Thesis In-company
