Students seeking management careers in international environments need communication competence, a generalist academic background coupled with a practical focus, and a working knowledge of how to function in multicultural systems. The unique and original Bachelor of Business Administration (International Management) programme delivers this.

Taught entirely in English and embedded in an intercultural setting, qualified and experienced lecturers impart sound knowledge and application skills in various management fields always ensuring there are global perspectives in each module. In the later semesters, a selected major provides specialist training in key business fields

Every student is required to study at least one semester at a university in another country.

Programme content


The programme consists of an assessment stage followed by developmental and consolidation studies:

Assessment Stage:
In the interest of the student, and to ascertain whether the programme can be successfully completed, an initial full-time assessment stage requires the mastering of fundamental business studies subjects. If these are passed within the given time the student qualifies for the mandatory semester abroad selection process and can henceforth adapt the speed and mode of the remaining programme to individual requirements.

Personalised Developmental and Consolidation Studies: together with a sound mandatory education in business, research methods and business communication a variety of courses can be selected from a broad range of electives. This allows the tailoring to personal wishes and aptitudes. Similarly, choice of major, minor and the practice-oriented projects and final Bachelor thesis enable enhancement of preferred profiles.

Students can choose to major in either Finance or Marketing.

Fees are conversion to Euro, from Swiss Francs at rate in force 01.04.16

3 A-levels (Grades between A and E) + 3 GCSEs. Subjects required usually include English, a Second language, Mathematics, a Natural Science subject and a Humanities or Social Sciences subject (e.g. Geography, History or Economics/Law)
