Programme profile
This programme provides yoiu with a solid background in the core disciplines (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) as well as specific preparation in Mechanics/Energetics, Electronics and ICT/Internet Engineering. The interdisciplinary nature of the course enables students to develop a wide range of transferable skills: students are able to solve engineering problems through laboratory experiments, numerical simulations and analysis of results
After a very strong general preparation in the basic scientific, mathematical and engineering disciplines, students are required to specialise in one of the following areas:
- Mechanical/Energy Engineering
- Electronic Engineering
- ICT & Internet Engineering

Entry Requirements
Three A-Levels: Maths, Physics & Chemistry preferred
Six passes at Leaving Cert [2 x H5]. Physics & Chemistry preferred
