Programme profile

The Dance Academy at Fontys is an internationally-oriented school for Dance and Choreography. The programme emphasises the development of contemporary, creative dance artists and dance teachers with a high professional and creative level, and the development of innovative entrepreneurship.

Students receive differentiated tuition, and can influence their own educational route. In a challenging learning environment, the academy offers knowledge in a broad artistic context, where practice is inextricably bound up with theory.

At the end of a first, foundation,  year, students chooses to major  [specialise] in either Dance Performance (Dance Theatre/Modern or Contemporary Urban) or Choreography.
