Programme profile

This programme commences with a 2 year Foundation Degree [an AP Degree] in MultiMedia Design or a 2.5 year Foundation Degree [an AP Degree] in Computer Science and is topped-up to a BSc in Web Development or e-Concept Development in a further 1.5 years.

In the Computer Science stream, you acquire both a theoretical and practical approach to IT tasks. There are 4 mandatory core subjects: Programming, Systems Development, Technology and Business Knowledge in an IT Perspective.

In the Multimedia Design stream you will learn how to use different principles and methods for planning and managing multimedia development processes from concept to implementation.

In both streams, elective subjects, an internship period and the final examination project gives you the opportunity to focus on the areas that are most relevant for your BSc destination and ultimate employment interest.

In the Web Development programme, you will improve your development and programming skills to a professional level. You will work creatively with coding, creating complex web-based projects with commercial potential. Those who focused on the Computer Science Foundation will focus on Front-end programming, while those trained in multimedia will focus on the back-end.

In the E-Concept Development programme, you will learn to develop e-shops, e-concepts and e-marketing strategies, as well as how to manage e-shops and e-commerce portals.
