Programme profile
This programme takes place at the Charles University Pharmaceutical Faculty in Hradec Kralove.
Graduates of this programme will acquire a good knowledge and understanding of:
- medicines and medicinal preparations
- pharmaceutical technology and the physical, chemical, biological, and
microbiological evaluation of medicnesand medicinal preparations;
- metabolism, the effects and uses of medicines and medicinal preparations
- toxic substances;
- the evaluation of scientific data concerning medicines
- legal and other aspects of managing a pharmaceutical practice
The programme includes compulsory, recommended and optional modules.
Progression
The programme complies with the EU directive 2005/36/EC and graduates are qualified to be registered as a pharmacist.
Entry Requirements
3 A-levels + 3 GCSE (grades between A and C) inc Maths. A-Levels to include Biology and Chemistry
Six subjects at Leaving Certificate including Biology and Chemistry. Two subjects required at H5.
