Programme profile


The Faculty of Pharmacy educates students in two majors: Pharmacy and Medical Analysis. The Faculty's high level of education was confirmed by the Accreditation Committee for Medical Universities, which granted the Faculty accreditation for both MSc majors. Classes in pharmacy are currently conducted in English only for the MSc in Phrmacy.

Currently, as many as 856 students study at the Faculty of Pharmacy and throughout its 60 years of activity, it has educated 4,872 Masters of Pharmacy. The Faculty consists of sixteen Departments and Institutes, the Library, the Medicinal Plant Garden, the Postgraduate Training Centre, two computer rooms and a pharmacy.

Year 2: Physical chemistry; Molecular biology; Physiology; Modern foreign language ; First aid; Analytical chemistry; Organic chemistry; Biochemistry

Year 3: Pharmaceutical chemistry; Pharmacognosy ; Immunology; Microbiology; Pathophysiology; Pharmaceutical technology; Elective subjects; Practical Training [One-month]

Year 4: Clinical biochemistry; Pharmaceutical biotechnology; Bromatology; Pharmacokinetics; Pharmacology and Pharmacodynamics; Psychology and sociology; Synthesis and chemical technology of drugs; Pharmaceutical technology; Toxicology; Medical ethics; First aid; Elective subjects; Practical training at hospital pharmacy [one month]

The University doesn't currently offer any related PhD programmes, taught through English.
