Programme profile
This programme teaches you to become a manager in any kind of international company. The programme gives you a good grounding in core business subjects and an opportunity to specialise in one of three areas:
- International Marketing & Sales
- International Logistics & Supply Chain
- International Business Strategy
- International Finance Management
The course is modular with a thematic-interdisciplinary approach. Stenden teaches through Problem Based Learning through which you work independently and at your own level of knowledge. Critical components are the practical elements of the education and your work placement in the fourth year
You will have the chance to learn a two languages from Dutch, German, French or Spanish
Programme content
During the first year, you will study a broad range of core business subjects, including Marketing & Sales Management, Management Accounting, International Management & Organisation and International Business Environment.
In the second year will learn in greater depth about strategy, quality and logistics. Subjects during this year include International People Management, Corporate Marketing Communication, Quality Management and Export Management & Logistics.
In the third year you follow your chosen specialisation and can choose to go abroad on an exchange programme. Your final year largely comprises your internship period and Thesis.
Progression
The university doesn't currently offer a related Masters programme, taught through English
Entry Requirements
2 A/S Levels and 4 GCSEs OR relevant BETEC Level 3 Extended Diploma
Five passes at Leaving Cert (minimum 200 points) OR relevant QQi/FETAC Level 5. Subjects to include Maths.
