Programme profile

This programme integrates knowledge from three academic fields in the social sciences: human resource studies, organisation studies, and sociology, from a cross-cultural and international comparative perspective.

People are confronted with complex social issues, often linked to serious global challenges. These complex social and global issues and challenges vary from climate change to domestic violence, from an aging workforce to poverty, and from stimulating sustainability in value chains to dealing with changes in health care systems. The solutions cannot be found in one single specialism but require different organisations and teams to work together in order to find adequate solutions. This unique programme combines insights from human resource studies, organisation studies, and sociology. This combination prepares you for multidisciplinary positions in international companies and organisations.
