Programme profile
The modern mechanical engineer is a generalist. His broad expert knowledge, together with his social and management skills, allows him to take on roles as a problem-solver in interdisciplinary teams. He is able in complex, rapidly-changing situations to accurately assess new technical developments and trends and, within a team, to develop and market innovative products and services. This programmes trains students to meet these challenges and demands.
Programme content
In addition to giving an excellent grounding in natural science and subjects such as IT, mathematics, mechanics, construction and electrical engineering, this innovative programme focuses on developing your communication and management skills.
Interdisciplinary modules connect technical fundamentals with topics such as creativity, management techniques and marketing. Particular emphasis is placed on team skills which are reflected in two interdisciplinary team projects where the students fascinating problems from real life.
Students have a 3-month practical work experience period at the end of the second year and a semester abroad in the third year.
