Design Academy Eindhoven [DAE]is the only University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands that is fully specialised in design.
Founded in 1948, DAE has some 700 design students, based in the WitteDame building, a disused Philips factory in the city centre. The academy exerts a considerable attraction on designers. Eindhoven has an ideal climate for the creative entrepreneur. “Thinking with your hands” is an expression you will often hear as you walk the halls of the academy.
