Estonian University of Life Sciences





The Estonian University of Life Sciences was founded in 2005 having originally been, the Faculties of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Science of the University of Tartu, and, in the Soviet era, the Estonian Agricultural University.

Teaching and research at the university is carried out in five institutes:

Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences
Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences
Institute of Forestry and Rural Engineering
Institute of Technology
Institute of Economics and Social Sciences

The university currently has about 5000 students.
