Founded in 1966, the Instituto Europea di Design [IED] is an international Higher Educational network in Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management of creative industries. It offers undergraduate courses, advanced courses and Masters in its colleges in Italy, Spain and Brazil.
IED Barcelona welcomes 1200 students from over 40 countries every year. It has outgrown its current premises in Gracia and has acquired a nearby textile factory which it is developing as a new state-of-the-art design centre.
