Lublin Medical University was formed in 1950. In 1972 a Faculty of nursing was created to be followed by Division of Dentistry at the Medical Faculty in 1973. Since its formation, the university has educated nearly 14,000 Doctors (including over 100 graduates of the programme taught through English), 2,500 Dentists, 6,500 Pharmacists and 5,000 nurses.

Halls of Residence are about €200-250 per month but availability is limited. Otherwise, rent is about €250 per month.
