With about 15,000 students, FH Münster is one of the largest Universities of Applied Sciences in the country. Münster University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1971 after the merger of public and private schools of construction and engineering and vocational training institutions. The university offers some 90 degree programmes, 38 of which are Master's programmes - a high proportion compared to other universities of applied sciences.
