This programme prepares students for a successful career in international companies, by giving them a solid overview of all aspects of international trade and business. Students major in either e-Business and Distribution, or in Financial Management, making them top level professionals in their chosen field. A broad range of extension studies enables students to tailor their education to their particular needs and interests.The programme offers cutting edge know-how.
Courses are a blend of lectures and structured discussion sessions. You have the opportunity to analyse actual business situations and suggest solutions to them. There is more emphasis on practice than on theory. Cooperation with international companies and other international business schools helps to ensure that the curriculum and teaching methods are up-to-date. Visiting lecturers from universities and business schools abroad are invited to teach specific courses. All students complete two ten week long work placement periods at chosen companies
Programme content
The programme is structured as follows:
General Studies: strengthen the student's general intellectual background as well as provide him/her with basic knowledge in organisational behaviour as well as basic competence in methodology and in foreign languages.
Core Studies: provides the student with general business competence and solid knowledge of international business operations. Within Core Studies the student will choose to specialise in either e-Business or Financial Management.
Extension Studies: comprises two modules that give the student a deeper understanding and skills in a specific area of interest to the student.
Internship: divided into two ten week periods during the first and the third year of study
Degree Thesis: an independent research project undertaken by the student
