Programme profile

Say "marketing" and most people immediately think of advertising, but marketing involves much more than that. It is about the way a company or an organisation creates, communicates and delivers value to its customers: a product, a service or an experience. As a marketer your task is to satisfy each client"s needs, not only in order to sell what you are marketing and generate income for your company, but also to be able to develop new products, services and experiences.

The programme is delivered in a way that the university claims makes it unique in Sweden. Teaching and Examinations are now based mainly on case studies of actual companies, some conducted by researchers, others undertaken by you yourself out among our partner companies. The pace of study on the Marketing programme is rapid, the content is a mix of theory and practical experience. During the fourth semester you have an opportunity to study abroad to acquire international experience. In year three you may choose to focus on products, services and experiences, either for consumers or for companies.
