Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) was founded in 1995. It has five locations in Carinthia: Feldkirchen, Klagenfurt, Spittaland Villach. It currently has just under 2,500 students studying in four faculties: Civil Engineering & Architecture; Engineering & IT; Health Sciences & Social Work; Management.
CUAS offers some 30 degree programmes, only one of which is currently offered through English.

There are student dorms in Villach, however, most students rent private accommodation.The average monthly costs of rooms are up to € 300.00 ( and € 400.00 for a small apartment ).
